About the Artist
Naho Ogawara
A life-altering experience sparked a creative rebirth for me at the age of twenty-two. It led me to look inward and reflect on what truly matters in life. Growing up in a four-hundred-year-old Buddhist temple in Niigata, Japan, I developed a deep spiritual connection with nature and the world around me.
As the year 2000 began, so did my creative journey. Each piece I craft is made with care using 14k gold-filled, sterling silver, and natural, sustainable, and environmentally friendly materials. Genuine semi-precious stones, indigenous woods, Hill Tribe silver, shells, pearls, and artisan glass beads from Japan and the Czech Republic — all coming together in designs that reflect both simplicity and soul.
I believe in creating jewelry that is simple, timeless, and perfect for everyday wear. Inspired by my love of surfing, I design waterproof pieces that embody both beauty and durability—allowing you to stay connected to nature wherever you go.
Now based in the Sunshine State of Florida, I participate in art and craft shows across the state, sharing my handcrafted jewelry with people who value natural beauty and mindful living. Whether on land or in the sea, Oide Jewelry is meant to flow naturally with you.
